Nickname: Illegal Regal
3/2/2008: Slim now has my 350 and all the parts, so hopefully he can put it to use in his truck. I'll try get some pics of his truck (can't remember the year right now) up as well. It's a work in progress yet.
11/26/2007: Well, after taking a look at the car back in the summer I noticed that the interior was totally ruined due to neglect while sitting for a few years. The rear frame was two to three times as rusty as it was when I first got the car and it was basically just ready to fall apart. I decided not to use this car anymore, so I still have my 350 in the shop and either selling it or finding another regal/monte/camaro around the 85 year to use.
Early/2007: This isn't your ordinary, everyday, family-car Regal that some of you may know of. This car was bagged everytime it was driven. The body was taken care of, at least to the extent of not wanting to fuck it up (like the Monte Carlo got). The drivetrain on this Regal was put through hell many times though.
Under the pictures section, you can find pictures of a couple of the better burnout this old girl managed with the Chevy smallblock 305. Under the videos section you will find links to videos of burnouts, donuts, etc.
The current state of the car is:
-Stripped down and sanded
-Partial body-work done and partially primed in areas
-Chevy Smallblock 350 (punched out to 355) half assembled with new parts and a shelf full of new parts waiting to go on
Hopefully by fall I can get the body and engine work done and piece it all back together. Maybe I'll even get the nice paint job on.
